Intermediate Education
Preparing students for the future.
Intermediate Education is an imperative time for development to open the minds of students and prepare them for the world that they will face in their future educational endeavors and beyond. These are the years when material that will be built on later is introduced, such as anatomy and the solar system, but also lessons of life are learned.
Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, each of these subjects are taught with the Christian teachings of faith. Intermediate students are additionally involved with Music, Art, Library, Physical Education, Technology and Digital Learning, and Guidance classes in order to establish them in the best path of success.
Holy Spirit utilizes the Wonders curriculum. Wonders states that “the path to success doesn’t look the same for every child – but for every child, literacy is the key to success. Wonders is inspired by the belief that every student can succeed. By providing a comprehensive set of connected resources for all learning…Wonders offers educators the ability to adapt instruction with confidence as students grow. Combining the work of literacy experts with research on social emotional learning, Wonders helps you strengthen skills, bolster learning, and encourage independence, enhancing the important and inspiring work…”
