Tiger Talk – April 22 2022 – Issue 65

Principal’s Message

“This week at Holy Spirit we celebrate the Solemnity of
the Octave of Easter-one great Sunday spread over eight
days. The celebration begins on Easter Sunday and
concludes with the Second Sunday of Easter or Divine Mercy
Sunday. Each day of the Octave is a solemnity and
celebrated as a “little Easter”. The other time of the year
when an Octave is celebrated is the 8 days following
Christmas Day. These are significant feast days for the
church. What does it mean for us at Holy Spirit? It means we
are “Easter people” called to spread the good news about
the resurrection of the Lord each and every day. May the
Risen Christ bring peace and joy to you and your family
throughout the Easter season.”
