Tiger Talk – August 11, 2022 – Issue 71

Principal’s Message

Welcome to all of our Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School Families! It is a great day to be a Tiger! The opening of school is a robust time of adjustment for families and school staff as the children are welcomed into the classrooms for the first time. We have had many events to mark the beginning of the year-Tiger Night, Tears and Cheers, 7th/8th Grade Dance, and the first ever PTO Block Party. All of these events had a common thread-community. It has been wonderful to meet new families and students and welcome back returning ones as we all set the tone for the kind of school community we want to be. It is so important that all of us feel like we belong. Christ calls us to friendship with him and with each other. The last opening event of the school year is the August 15 all-School Mass at 9:00am. I hope you can come. The church floor will be filled with our children! God’s blessings will be seen through the gift of our children. The celebration of the Eucharist will be an experience of the grace of God pouring out over all of us. Christ is brought forth to all of us in the celebration of the Mass. May the blessings bestowed on you by God sanctify our community to grow in holiness.

Vincent Aquila

“The secret of happiness is to live moment by moment and to thank God for all that He, in His goodness, sends to us day after day.”
