Principal’s Message
On September 21, the Church celebrated the Feast of St. Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist. St. Matthew’s gospel specifically called God’s chosen people to see that the promised Messiah had come in Jesus. Matthew’s vocation was as a tax collector, not necessarily a position of high respect among the Jewish people.
Even though Matthew did not lead a perfect life, Jesus called him to be among the original apostles. So too are all of us called in our own humble lives to follow Christ and share the Good News of Jesus.
